CRX

If I want to get a crx is it a bad idea to get older than an 88? Is there big differences like in doing engine swaps, breaks, suspension, steering, transmission swap, ect.
Thanks

big difference, and im pretty sure its a bitch to do a swap in a rex older than 88, just from the engine bay pics ive seen, it looks hard. and its not done very often. if you wanna do a swap get a second gen, 88-91

get a 90-91 Si, comes with rear disks! and there is more aftermarket for 90-91 then 88-89 (like indiglo) and I find rear shocks a pain for a 88!

Thanks guys. I really wanted the 1st gen cause it is really cheap and I could afford it. Cause this car is just going to be my second car so ill just keep looking around till I find one at a decent price. Thanks again.

i don't know what you're talking about having the engine bay crammed. mine is totally open. i don't know if its supposed to like that or if the mexifruit that had the car before tore some ---- apart.
