Default credit question

Long story short, I have a re-po that is coming off of my credit this month. How much will my credit go up from this. This is the only thing that is negative on my credit report right now.

Forums and google advanced search FTW. I wish I would have gone straight to the advanced search.

I found a pretty bitchin forum that talks about credit and credit reporting.

This sticky answered my question, which makes sense. I guess I just need to sit and wait...check it in a few weeks.

"It depends. It is impossible to say how important any single factor or new information is in determining your score because the importance of each factor depends on the overall information in your credit report. What is important in scoring is the mix of information, which varies from person to person and for any one person over time.

For some people, a given factor may be more important than for someone else with a different credit history. In addition, as the information in your credit report changes, so does the importance of any factor in determining your score."

I hope this gives me a few more points on my score. I am trying to buy a house in a few months...and I need to make sure my ***** lined up.

Frank, anyone can get a house, you just have to have a down payment big enough to lose.

One of those automated deals that page you when they run low on soap or wax? Those things might as well be money printing presses.
