Similar thing happened to me and a buddy of mine. Went down to the sylmar races down in the LA valley atleast 6 years ago. Long story short we bet 500 bucks on his all motor crx vs a turbo civic with a gsr motor. Allmotor car wins we cruise by to collect cash gun is shown we go back to the high desert has fast has we can.

I don't know how people can live with themselves after doing some dirty ---- like that. Kill someone, take their life away FOREVER and make their family suffer tremendous pain just to have some spending cash and put some rims on your car. 
People like that need to be put to rest when caught. Obviously they are fucked up in the head and there is no hope of fixing it.
