Crazy idea but...crazy enough to work?

Narrowband 1-wire o2 sensors can generate 0-1 volts depending on the oxygen content of exhaust gas.

What if you put, say a few hundred of these in an exhaust pipe, would it generate any power worth a crap?

the amprage would be so shitty I dont even think it would matter. You could run your exaust through a boiler tank and have the tank hooked to a steam turbine generator and use a second radiator to disapate the heat generated in the system and loop it back to your boiler. but i think the alternator is more than enough :P

and what purpose are you trying to serve with your hallucination that you're going to install 300 o2 sensors into your car?

The Xenon Neons, under the brand name Xenenons are currently undergoing product testing. Several of our test vehicles have caught fire from the intense heat generated from the xenon plasma...so it looks like plan "3rd degree ricers" should be beginning very soon.
