If you are looking for any, or more info on that particular setup.. You should check out www.bonnevilleclub.com they have tons of info.

just run the cavi into a wall and save the money from the engine.. just my 2 cents.

Re:a crazy domestic thought

yes you can do that. esp if you have a first or second gen j-body, but its poss to do it to a 3rd gen also, jsut a lot harder. i know a few who have done it. its not just going to swap in though.

Re:a crazy domestic thought

Just keep driving the cav til it dies, when it does burn it and take a video of it and let us all see it ;D
Seriously though with all the experience with GM vehicles I have had over the past few years. They haven't made a good long lasting upgradeable motor in the past 10 years, IMHO :-\

Re:a crazy domestic thought

i wouldnt waste the time or money doing it personally. id run it into the ground if its a 1st or 2nd gen.

Re:a crazy domestic thought

yeah, but ive got a 3rd gen. totally diff story there. the first and second deff arent worth the time or money unless you absolutly in love with the car. a 3rd gen is worth it though. (assuming you have the time, fonds, and obsession)

That is the one that isn't too far from here. The guys name is James, he usually goes by Raven. He is hoping to be putting down around 400hp to the wheels and I think he said around 450 for torque. Crazy setup for sure...
