polaris 600 triple motor and snowmobile clutch + go-kart = death on wheels. lol

I like the 5 speed motor cycle idea, but if it starts getting complicated, consider a snowmobile belt style clutch. That'd be pretty easy to rig up on a go-cart

all polaris PVT clutches are the same, they use them on the ATVs also, and with the atv gearbox you have a gear link for a chain and low, high and reverse. ALso, if you felt really froggy, you could build an awd gocart if you had a donor sportsman 500

LOL @ AWD go-kart. That would be a wee-bit involved.

Think *hope* I got a motor lined up. Warrior 350 (6 speed w/reverse?) with carb and electronics

not as involved as you'd think, you could probably just splice the front and rear end off the atv and find some shorter coil overs off some other atv and angle the shock towers back, cut one drive shaft in half and leingthen it to reach the front diff. and shorten the rear so the engine can sit behind you.

then youd have all wheel disk brakes and ---- too

If someone leaves a 4wd 4-wheeler on my doorstep I'll think about it

Yesterday I hooked up a cordless drill to the free-motor and got it to fire over. Scared the **** out of me because it wasnt bolted to anything LOL. The pull-start mechanism wasnt on the motor. Wonder if I could weld a gear on there and use an old honda starter for an electric start? HMMMM. OOH I think I've got just the gear for the job too! KICK-***. I'd just have to run a small lawnmower battery or something for powering it up.. ****!

So for now that little motor is going on the "street cart". Worked a bit on the street cart last night and got it disassembled, got most of the rust ground down so it'll be ready for paint sometime this week/weekend, but not until I remove or straighten the bent axle shaft.

Havent heard from the guy with the 350 motor and trans but im pretty sure that deal is still a go.
