counterfit cash
another reason detroit sucks!!!
apparently people even bothered making fake 1's http://www.t-mobilepictures.com/phot...6pm3h9hqtfmy2z http://www.t-mobilepictures.com/phot...y4bx10soxnwabt http://www.t-mobilepictures.com/phot...5gnaslgywo9hp9 http://www.t-mobilepictures.com/phot...jpym9jibl2c0rq they look real but they feel fake.. so if someone puts it in facing up.. and in a stack among 5's and 1's and say a 50.. you wouldnt pay attention to the 20 :( i didnt get hit with this one.. but from now on ill be double checking all the cash i take in :-\ |

Re: counterfit cash
Ive never seen a fake $1, but I remember seeing a $20 that looked perfect, but was fake. Not too long ago I read about a guy who got busted for counterfitting money. Federal prison time.

Some counterfitters "bleach" the ink off of 1's and use that paper to put 20's 50's and 100's on. When I was in highschool some kids printed a ---- load of 5's out on the printing press. The feds were at our school the next day confenscating out printing press, lol. they gave it back when they tracked down who it was.

Re: counterfit cash
My friends used to bleach 1's and make them into 20's and buy pot with them.. I havn't talked to them in a few years. They probably got shot. He worked at a place that remaned industrial printers/copiers and had a bad ass high rez scanner and printer. But he never temped to spend them at a store.

Re: counterfit cash
My old neighbor and a friend of his made some fake 20's or 50's cant remember which, and my neighbor tried spending them. Not smart. All the places he spent them at caught him.
Also, I read online the other day about some guy that tried opening up a bank account with a $1,000,000 bill hahaha. He failed and is in prison. |
Re: counterfit cash
those markers are worthless. we were ------- around at work one day and marked a newspaper. it registered as legit cash.

i had a freind that was washing 5's then makign then into 50's using this badass printer/scanner he got off some tweaker. it still had the face in it if you held it up to the light, wasn't the right president but it was one. who really pays attention to which one it is. oh and since it was made out of another actual bill it would pass the mark test. |
Re: counterfit cash
money can be copied pretty bad and still passed off. add some conversation and use some psycology and even the worst bills will pass.

more like the story of my life.

Re: counterfit cash
one out of four $1 bills is fake or so my economics teacher told me, it's dubbed p-money or play money
The paper is so hard to duplicate because it has linen in it, that's what the pen detects. 25% linen 75% cotton.... The marks on the side of a note are there because when you bring stacks to the bank, they put the ink on the side to touch every bill in the stack. And it's 15 years... not 30. Probably do 5ish though unless you blow trial. |
