copying DVDs?

copying DVDs?
my old computer crashed and is gone. so i bought a new one. need to be ripping some DVD's as....backups. was using DVDShrink + Nero before, but of course i lost my key from my comptuer crash lol...
so whats your suggestions? thought i had a copy of Nero 8 Ultra here, but it doesnt work...

dvd decrypter will rip dvd's to your HD as .iso, i'm not sure if you're ripping dvd's for the sake of having your 'own' copy or are you making data backups to dvd from your harddrive? alcohol 120% might be able to help you either way

They get time lapsed, or disabled. Nero 8 was a real bitch about that, it makes you jump through hoops with the whole license key manager deal.
Uhm, the only thing I have on this machine is Nero 9. I'm pretty sure it works since it's also installed on this machine. My portable juarez HD is in the car or something, so I'm down a half terabyte or else I'd be able to offer you versions 6-9, IIRC.
