COPS driving Civics WTF ?
 

O.K. I just put in my new project motor ( B16a ) after blowing up my turbo ZC and I was out testing it this weekend. When it wants to run right the bitch is fast.. alot faster then I thought cause I use to smoke B16's left and right with my N/A ZC but this feels alot faster. So I get on the highway and as soon as I get on this silver civic pulls up beside me. It's a 97' EK body 2dr with a body kit rims and a damn Racing helmet on the passenger seat head rest ( the guy driving it looked to be like 28 yrs old not some punk kid ). I wasn't going to mess with him but putting a racing helmet on a civic with a body kit just said it all. So I drop it into 4th and walk away from him and I see him swerving in and out to try to catch up, I stop and he pulls up next to me and what do I see but a shiny police badge being pulled out. " You wanna try that agian " He said " Nah I'm good " I reply. Now that I think of it afterwards I should have been a smart ass cause what he's going tpo catch me or try to pull me over in a SOHC civic or just dropped it into 3rd and walked away from him again but it took a second to relize what was going on and the adrenlin was still pumping.
The great thing was after he pulled away a 90' inetgra pulls up on me with the same body effect crap beg'in to race so I let him drop into 3rd and get a big jump on me and all I did was hit the gas in 4th. " F*** drop the bitch into 3rd " my friend says.... " I won't need to " I reply as soon as I hit vtec I walk away from him and do a " Fly By " on the silver civic ahead. Kind of a fun day until my car started to act up on the way home but I believ shadowrex and i ahve fixed it. Here my new project motor of what I'm running right now :
-92'-93' Integra XS-i OBD 1 converted to OBD0 B16a
-YS-1 " LSD " cable trans
-PR3 ECU.
-Camando Adjustable FPR.
-SPEC racing 4 puck clutch ( love this thing )
-ACT 8.5LB Porlite Flywheel
-Crane modified cap with MSD coil
-Moroso 8.5mm wires ( hey they were out of MSD and I couldn't wait )
-I/Stock header/E
-Place Racing motor mounts and shift linkage
Thats all as of now The block will be swaped out for a LS bottom end and I'm building up a LS/VTec. Just sharing with you guys.

Dude I'm not BSing... Alot of 90'-93' integra's are ragged out and have alot of miles on them the guy looked like he had alot of looks/rice crap done so he could have had stereo stuff what ever. I had no problem beating them with my ZC and have no problem beating them now. like I said he got a jump and was in the lead but my car pulls now as soon as I hit 3rd.

THIS IS NOT BULLSHIT! BE CAREFUL WHO YOU RACE! i know for a FACT, i have seen it first hand, that this kind of ---- is true. my buddy got pulled over by an undercover civic. also, i saw with my own eyes, a raced out grand am pull somebody over. they have the flashing siren on the visor area on the windshield hidden behind dark tint visors. when my friend told me about getting pulled over by a civic for revving up on him and jumping the light, i thought that he was bullshitting...cuz he said the cop let him off with a warning. however, when i personally saw a grand am pull somebody over i was like wtf...its true. here in las vegas cops are really getting sneaky about this street racing ----, its been out of hand for a while and i guess the piggies are sick of it.

A red firebird with 5 percent tint windows , and a plate cover so u can't tell its a sate plate

A dark blue civic lowered with a full bodykit ::)

Theres some other things I have seen too, like an undercover surburban WTF

GOne are the days of check for state plates and crown vics

------' cops can't do that, that is entrapment well it is in the state of Nebraska they are suppose to have some type of badge visible for you to see on the car. Cops also can't revv their engines at you that is instigating a race which is also illegal. I'd take those ----------ers to court. Oh yeah next time that cop with his stock sohc asks you if want try it again explain to him that if you can pull away from him in 4th gear while he's in fourth think how hard you can pull away from dropping into 2nd or 3rd and below by let him pull you over and take him to court tell the judge he instigated the race(dropping down gears) and that was entrapment because you had no idea it was a cop.

the mother fucker could have been a security guard, fireman, wild life officer, ---- maybe even a park ranger. just because he flashed a badge don't mean ----. some dude in an f-150 did that to me a while back, and then he got ahead of me and i saw that he was a volunteer fireman ::) . moral of this story is don't beleive anyone is a cop until they arrest you ;)

Never heard of such myself...in South Carolina the state patrol drives LT-1 powered UNMARKED(so be careful)Camaro's and they used to drive unmarked 5.0(BADAASS 5.0 at that)Mustangs, BUT NEVER seen a cop in a Civic...anywaaays, ---- THE POLICE...peaace

Lol I'm from Mass. too and I've seen undercover cops pulling people over. About a month ago I saw a Chevy Lumina pull someone over. A Chevy Lumina of all cars!!! And my dad said he saw a Mustang pulling some kids over on the highway.

I say play it cool on the streets and you wont have to deal with anny cops in what ever the ---- they are driving!

Heres a funny story though,the other day a 60s Camaro pulled up next to at a red light and I could hear the rumble,rumble of his engine.This was right across frome the local cop hang out(an empty lot where they hang out couse this street is known for people speeding down it)Anny ways he revs his engine and I play it cool and just look at him like "lets rock".I know my Z6 N/A with every bolt on imaginable cant take this thing.So the light turns green,he lights them up,and I dont even move!HAHAHA the fucker got pulled over and I want home.The moral of the story...Dont act like a ------- idiot and you wont get busted!

I walked into the local hop shop a few months back to see a nice ass integra, full cage, motor worked to the balls, no passenger seat, that's where the nos was going.. b.k, suspension everything... street car with stickers. legit I don't know, and the shop wouldn't say, but it belonged to a cop. That's beat. They harass us for our cars and then go back to the station and hop in a ride like that, and he's not doin anything illeagal, come on now who believes that ----.

warren_teg, if I can't pull a NA Integra from a roll, him starting in 2nd and me starting in 4th, by about fifteen car lengths I'll give you my turbo.

And we have 99 EBP Si, RSX-S, SHO, black on black with aftermarket rim LS1 Camaro, buncha Crown Vics, two diff Suburbans, and any number of undercover cars I am unaware of. A lot of Asheville's undercovers get rotated out to Charlotte and Hickory... we try to ------ the word about what is out there.

I have seen some pretty odd undercover cops myself. A lifted ford super duty, a camaro, hummer h2, lowered gmc denali on like 22's, and an escalade on like 20's. Washington is nuts.

huh, i don't understand, what are you trying to say.. are you trying to compare a cop car who has an ss camaro engine which already runs in the high 12's stock. plus it's chipped out and heavy duty trans. Good way to compare on someone elses car. what kind of car do you drive?
