ok i think this is a bunch of bullshit. i pulled out of a stop and shop and there is a sunoco right next to it and i was going to pick up a dutch and it was gonna be a good night untill a ------ statie had to bother me. ok well i didnt have my lights on only becuz stop and shop parking lot has light so i forgot to turn on my lights and i figured i was goin like .3 miles. and the same with my seatbelt. so when i pull into sunoco there was a cop right as i pulled in but he didnt do anything for like 2 min. i parked and i got out and i was walkin into the store and i was about to grab the handle and i see flashing lights. i was like are u ------ serious. he gets out he's like hey you come here get in the car and roll down your window. i'm like what the ---- is he serious. but i did it cause i'm black and i aint tryin to get 3 clips unloaded into me. and he gave me the seat belt and driving with no lights ticket. what u guys think i should do just plea guilty or what.

Haha sucks man but with some of the cops I've had encounters with, it could have easilly happened to a whitey too. I say bring it to court man. Take pictures of how far away this gas station is from the stop and shop and bring that ---- to court. How can he even prove that you didn't have your seatbelt on?

i mean it`s against the law whenever you drive without your HL on at night, does`nt really matter how short a distance you`ve drove.

but i think there`s a problem how he made u get back to ur car, go deline everything in the court and ask for a video tape of all those bullshit.

it probebly was because your black. or the cops a douchebag. well he would be a douchebag if he did that if you were black so its a loose loose situation for him. i dress kinda preppy and him a white kid. and ive gotten pulled over drunk by cops, and they just tell me to go on home. or i got pulled over in the middle of this richer town one night just because i was driving my hatch. i was going back to my friends house driving right next to him in his acura tsx and i got pulled over. but when the cop saw that i was in chinos dress shoes and waring a tie. he was like "oh i just pulled you over because you dont have a front licenes plate but it looks like your brackets are rusted off. try to get tht fixed and have a good night" and i had a 6 pack under the towel in the back and an 8th in the little flip down coin thing in my car goin to my friends apartment to start the weekend off. try to fight it. and if you go to court act realy civil and ----. you can probebly get off. or atleast get the seatbelt ticket droped.

Theres gotta be somewhere in the law that says you have to be pulled over, rather than having him tell you to get back in your car and roll the window down.

If there isn't, take the story to court and claim harrassement. He could have pulled you over for the things he gave you a ticket for before you got out of your car and all that. He saw you going into the store, had nothing else on you, so he made a last ditch effort to pull some bullshit. It would have been alot more fucked if he waited for you to come out of the store, so he had to do it before you went in. That's harrassement.

He may have seen that you werent wearing a seatbelt too. Were you?

As far as him "harassing" you cause youre black? Well like said some people are just dicks, but we dont know he was picking on you cause of skin tone.

Him not pulling you over immediatley and waiting the 30 seconds for you to get out... Who knows. Mabye he was calling it in first. Him making you get back in the car could be "Officer safety" related.

None of us know what the Officer was thinking. You admitted you were in the wrong as far as the lights go. Are you debating that or the Officers procedures?

Well considering you didnt have your seatbelt on and you didnt have your lights on, and you pull up right beside a cop, then its probably your fault that you got a ticket.

You got a ticket for both of those offences, so why are you complaining. Maybe if you actually did have your seatbelt on and your lights on and he gave you a ticket, then I could see why you would be mad.

stop complaining about getting a ticket for breaking the law.


And as far as him telling you to get back into the car, it was probably officer safety (calling it in, writing down your license plate number ect). Maybe he didnt want a clip unloaded on him. THere are crazy ppl out there, so cops are probably taking extra precautions these days
