if you like Q3A but are too cheap to buy a copy ($10?) there is always Open Arena, it uses the actual quake engine since they open sourced it I believe... pretty fun..

got the new comp.

4gb ddr2 800mhz ram, athlon64x2 5600+, radeonHD2600xt(1830mhz, 512mb) is the bulk of the ---- that really matters

I just put ut2k4 back on my laptop, addicted again already. The sweet thing about it is it's got a lot of what source does, but it runs so much better on slower systems. I can run sourceforts at absolute lowest settings and it still lags.

all i have is 2gig ddr pc2700 ram, pentium 4 3.2 gig processor, and radeon 9600 pro 256 mb, and a 500w power supply..i know my comp is kindof outdated with being only ddr and no pci express, but it works perfect for me.
