the 8 turbo ls1 looks like a waste of time though

(way too much work, but whatever).

If you are talking about the LS1, don't be dumb, look closely at the pictures and you'll see all 8 turbos, four with the compressor housings facing forward, and four with the compressor housings facing backward.
