I've had contacts since like the 5th grade. I've had some probs before with them burning my eyes like you described.. and i'd just change em out and put new in, because they were just getting old.. or sometimes they can infect your eye.. in which case you should wear ur glasses for a few days to let em rest. If it occurs again, try a different brand of contacts.. i had to try 3 or 4 different brands before I found a brand that was comfortable.

Like I said mine usually only burn when they get really, really old. When you get new ones you'll notice they're a lot more flexible than the old ones.

And yes, you can get an infection or worse from not cleaning them or using them too long. I've heard of people having to get them surgically removed after they've had them in too long, and I believe it after leaving mine in for a few days they become noticeably more difficult to remove.

Acuvue Oasys (how it's spelled lol) ftmfw! Gotta be with Hydraclear too. They have the highest water content out of any lenses and are incredibly comfortable. I take mine out before bed every night though. ---- will stick to my eyelids if I sleep in them.

Never had to many problems with mine, but if I take a hot shower with them in they stick to my eyeballs like glue.

had mine since the 6th grade and in the last 2 years i had some nasty eye allergies flare up and i have switched around between about 4-5 types of contacts. im using dailys now because the 2 week ones would only last less then a week because they would get all fogged up from the allergies. also got 2 staff infections in my eyes since then cuz i always ---- with my eyes, those are real fun.

Yeah I went in yesterday and he told me that I had "allergens" in my eyes and to use these drops for 5 days and come back. I think this brand of contacts just sucks, but I already bought 6 months worth of these.. :1
