What he said. I don't care how cool a company is supposed to be, if they can't find the time to answer my questions before I pay them they probably won't be able to find the time to answer my questions afterward either.

Hey now Newb don't be slamming guys who have been making quality ---- for HMTers WAY longer then you have been arround!!

If you would go back (probably before you signed up!) There was a post that BMC said he is SWAMPED. Thrying to put out 5+ manifolds a week. For a guy doing this just to make some extra cash and have fun doing it, this is alot!

Give the guy some time. He's probably trying to catch up on some outstanding orders for some other people who have patiently waited their turn.

Re: contact # for BMC?

BMC makes great products, but I hate to say their customer service is worse than sub par...its a shame becuase they are really good guys, but their response time is not too good at all. look for him over on HT though...seems to hang out and be more responsive to them over there.

and FYI last I checked he did this for a living not to "make some extra cash"...bad customer service is bad customer service plain and simple.

I've dealt with James on several occasions and he has gotten back to me right away. Don't slam him because he is busy - he will get back to you as soon as he can. I vouch for James. Just be patient.

james is a good kid. i've dealt with him before and he was more than accomodating when there was a small issue, i ended up getting a wicked deal in the end. he may be slow to respond, but his customer service is good if there is ever a problem. i vouche for james too. ;)

I'm actually a good friend of James, known him for a while now. He does not do this for a living as someone said, he is still in school right now. He is swamped and may take a while to answer your question. I would PM him on here I think there sig is BMCRace or something like that. Check out the for sale forum they have a sticky there.
If it is just a question about his manifolds and not price or shipping times, post it up here someone here or I may be able to answer it for you.

Re: contact # for BMC?

basically just wanted to know how long for a mild steel manifold with external wastegate would take to get shipped out

and how to pay for one.

two guys, one making manifolds, and one cutting flanges...both taking on customer service together.

for a team of two trying to pump out as much ---- as they can, they are doing a damn fine job.
