no ---- right. they were like holy ----! you can bolt a T25 almost directly to a HF manifold. , a mitsu intercooler almost fits perfectly, just tap some oil lines into the oil pan/out the back of the block, throw on a FMU ::) and you have yourself a turbo. cheap and easy!

holy ----! why didnt they mention the name Jeff Frank and www.homemadeturbo.com

Ditto.
From what I heard, Craig offered one of the distributors that he sells for a project that SCC was doing years ago. He waited for the story to be published forever, and then forgot about it. All of a sudden I guess they finally got around to printing the story, and bam, there's our man.
I'm so happy for Craig and Tuner Toys. We have developed an awsome business relationship. I'm excited about going out to SEMA next month together. It's gonna be fun.

Good job Craigmode. ;D

Kyle, SEMA is the automotive aftermarket show in Las Vegas every year. It showcases all the new ---- that's coming out for all the spectrums of automotive ----, but they only let "insiders" in. :P

It's kinda like the IAS show, but that one is public, and is more like a car show. This one is where all the manufacturers have booths and try to sell you thier newest ----. It's a good place to meet people when wanting to buy/sell something. They have big parties at night that are held by the manufacturers and ----.

Maybe I'll take a camera and do a "what's coming out" for HMT, months before all the magazines usually do. ;)

Thanks for the good words guys!

Although we are glad to have the exposure, it wasn't very timely. I had donated a distributor (almost two years ago, or more...)to the magazine through Hasport. They gave me the heads up one day that SCC was in need of a B16 OBD0 dizzy, and had a photographer in town doing a shoot on a different article.

I dropped what I was doing, and ran right down there with a fresh unit. (We were rebuilding OBD0 units almost two years ago, back when B16 swaps were really hot.) Talked to the photographer for about an hour, handed off the rebuilt unit, and thought I would see something in a month or so.

After a little over a year, I gave up waiting for the article to ever come out and moved on. B16 swaps had waned, and demand for dizzys was down. In addition, a company in Canada was saturating eBay, with brand new units they were importing from Asia. I moved on to fittings, flanges, and other turbo stuff.

The article did generate some increased web traffic, but that quickly died off....

One big bummer, is that I donated the dizzy back before we were doing the block fittings and flanges, so I did not get a chance to get exposure for them The fittings would have been a perfect part for their VTEC line, instead of the crap they used....

Oh well! I am very happy to have made it into a magazine, especially one with a large readership like SCC. It was totally unpected to turn the page and read our own company name in the article in in the source box!!! (my wife thought I had lost my mind when I came running up to her with the mag....

Thanks again guys, next article, I get a chance to give some HMT love!
