most likely you will need drivers..

go to start > settings > control panel > add hardware

click already connected to pc

then scroll down and look for yellow triangles next to the name.. thats hardware without drivers.

give me the name of the video and sound card and i can help you find drivers..

second possibility is you fried your sound card. i did that when i was being stupid with my guitar and amp.. and connected em to the pc..

or ur card could have been unplugged for some reason...

yeah buks on the money. or is worse comes to worse, you might have to reinstall your OS, likley windows right>?

haha i was just thinking, is there a virus that could over clock your CPU and kill it? like the vid of the guys who over clock an amd and it exploded

Question buk, my computer is really choppy with music. When I start up the computer, the startup sound is choppy, everything is choppy. When I watch video, the video runs smoothly but the audio does not. I reinstalled the driver and still nothing. Think it could be my card?
