Default Computer Stuff

Does anyone know if there is a way to put new USB ports on a laptop if the existing ones are already fucked...(as in the prongs are all bent and dont work anymore)

I already bought some stupid ------ internet card lookin thing but that didnt work.. Any suggestions because I need my iPod to ------ work meow.



If so can u send a link to the product if somehow something exists

Yeah but does it need to be powered by an existing USB? because mine are fucked already.

like cody said...

you just buy a pcmcia usb card plug it in to your pcmcia slot and your good to go...

pcmcia doesnt need to be powered by anything....

lol.. i cant imagine how you fucked the usb slots on your pc

maybe it came loose from the motherboard, it happends sometimes. And the only fix is to replace the MB or get a new laptop. Ive seen it before.

No gateways are just checp I guess. I used the ports alot in college for external memory drives and the prongs are shitty anyways.

That or just go with the PCMIA option, that seems the simplest thing to do IMO.

Cool, I'll have to try the pcmcia first then maybe tear the ---- up and try and solder because I could almost care less about the computer anymore. Outdated POS.

i would try to resolder it. my connector for my power cord was all fucked up on my laptop and i had to take it apart and resolder it, look spretty ghetto but works liek a charm.
