computer ppl

i lost the install cd for my dvd player for xp. so anyone know where i can download the codec or the install so i can watch dvd's again ?

What kind of dvd player is it? I'm sure they will have downloads on the manufacturers site. Or you could just try searching the internet.

Computer: Compaq 6330CA
O/S: Windows Xp Home
DVD: 16X Max DVD-ROM Drive

last time i used it, the program was called WinDVD or somthing. then i reformed my cpu, and lost the install disc for the player. so does anyone know where i can get a different player....or anything.
