nooo i deffinetly know that 85fps is fine but when it dips to 85 it normally will have the frames sit there for more then a second or two so the 85 im experiencing is like 1fps. Yes im running 81.98 it only happens in cs and i have everyother app closed off.

The ram on the Nvidia 5000 series cards tends to run hot. You might be overtaxing it. Do you have ram sinks or anything cooling the ram? Are you running everything at the base level, or are you overclocking? What resolution are you running? What power supply do you have? I can't help with no info. Give me as much as possible. Anything you can think of.
