OK I'm trying to use my tv as the monitor, I have this bitch hooked up with a DVi to HDMI adapter. The screen flickers and looks blurry, wtf do i need to mess with?

Check the resolution. Is the TV a 720 or 1080?

tv is a 720

feel free to talk to me like a retard, computers arent my thing. I see where to change the refrech rate/ Hz for the monitor (although there is only one choice), how do i do it for the card itself?

HDMI is a brand new phillips cable so i hope thats not it.

almost...with it set at this resolution it doesnt quite fill the screen, and anything higher makes it blurry/shaky. Normally the TV lets me zoom/fill the screen but for some reason with this input it wont let me resize it. Oh well.

If there are any options that say overscan or underscan set it to 0%
