did you install something recently ? weither it be hardware or software ??

Which program is trying to play the video ?

you could allways call dell, or if your into enough, go into the hardware profile, and delete all the items in the sound&devices folder, Re-boot, then let the computer find all of it on it's own....

OR ...go to dell.com ..and search around for some new drivers for the sound card..and install them.

Have fun being on the phone for hours with Dell. Do a system restore. Report back.

I was goign to say if somethign s dont play sound but others do I would be willing to bet you've got some evilbadscary things in there. I would scan with Spybot & adaware. Maybe run a HiJack this on it and see what you got in there.

Ok i got a question for all you computer genious's out there. I have limewire pro, downloaded a ---- load of ****, then deleted it after i was done with it. I deleted it from limewire and from the folder that limewire put them in, Now i am smart enough to know they are still there, i just don't know where to look for them or how to find them. How can i completely get rid of them without dumping my whole system? I mean completely get rid of them. If my Girl gets ahold of this ---- im screwed. And she is a computer nerd kinda girl so i gotta do it quick. lol her parents build computer systems and programs for the government on fort hood and they taught her all kinds of stuff. Enough that she built her own computer. i did go to search, and searched for pictures. No title or anything, just any pictures on the computer, couldn't find them. So someone help me out.
