Use this to find the thickness of gasket you are going to need to get your desired compression and then see what Cometic has that is close. They come in .025”, .027”, .030”, .036”, .040”, .043”, .045”, .054”, .067”, .078”, and .120” in MLS.
How accurate is that page?

I know there are degrees of change with every separate situation, but according to that site my CR is going to be 8.14 <_< Which seems crazy low.

Here is what I have and then how I entered it.

B18A1 - 81mm x 89mm
B18A1/B1 Head - 45cc/Cylinder
Piston - Other - (-12) Dome Displacement - Wiseco model no. K541M81
Gasket - Other - .025 inches
Piston To Deck - OEM B18 - .030

All calculates out to... 8.143703808595147!

------- crazy low. I guess I could get the block decked a bit... or just deal with the low *** comp ratio. Any body want to shoot me some options that don't include getting rid of my current pistons?! Thanks much!

Cometic offers D16A1 gaskets, but not sure about the sister ZC motor, and how exchangeable the two are.

We need to find out if they will drop ship for us. After that for the next week or so afterwards, we'll be selling them at $75 plus shipping. If they won't drop ship, we'll have to order them in groups, so you guys don't get screwed on shipping.

Yup, the head gasket for the a1 works perfectly. Let me know when you get all the other stuff worked out. There will be some folks on thezcr.com who are interested in the a1 headgaskets.

Our price will be $79 plus shipping for the MLS gaskets. Cometic no longer makes the HP type gasket, all applications are now MLS, which works fine with turbo / nitrous applications.
