Columbia river mandrel bending...

Does anyone from there post here? I'm trying to order from them but i'm not getting any responses back from my emails...

Re: Columbia river mandrel bending...

they're pricey as ---- on shipping, half of your parts cost will be your shipping total.

Smokey 12-10-2007 09:51 PM

Re: Columbia river mandrel bending...

They quoted me $40 for shipping on a 3" exhaust kit...This is to Canada with USPS, so that sounds pretty good to me. I've emailed buddy 3 times since his initial response, i'm just wondering if he's on Vacation or something and there is somebody else to get ahold of. I'd just call them, but i'm not near a phone when they're open.

just place the ------- order, and wait 3 weeks to get it.

stupid ------- ------s STFU and use DLH like they tell you too.

the northwest is a shipping dead zone, all shipping from there is expencive ya god damned twits

Re: Columbia river mandrel bending...

shipping is definatley not over priced. you do realize a box of 16g 3" steel bends doesnt weight 4 pounds right? :1

i pay $15+ to ship a 4 pound log manifold through USPS priority mail. so if your paying $40 for a 20 pound box cross counry thats not bad.

Smokey 12-11-2007 12:59 AM

Re: Columbia river mandrel bending...

Exactly, i didn't think $40 was unreasonable at all. Especially being in Canada, as normally most places just rape you automatically without even looking...I love on ebay when something is $14.99 for shipping to US, and $59.99 to ship to Canada...

Re: Columbia river mandrel bending...

You crybaby ass ----------ers.

Would you rather they charge what many other charge for mandrel bends plus the shipping costs?

I have ordered through them a couple of times. Awesome deal on both occasions.

Besides, if you are that cheap, go muffler shop dumpster diving.

---- that ----!!!!! Its kinda a scam You get all pumped that its a good deal, put it in the cart and go to check out and then you find out shipping is just as much as the item. Its just like ebay where you pay .01 for the item and $129.99 shipping

Do you think they can ship a 20lb box that's 2ftX1ft for $10?

Inquisition 12-11-2007 09:34 AM

Re: Columbia river mandrel bending...

Shipping is REALLY expensive now. What used to be $5 to ship is now $10 due to gas prices and inflation. It seems every quarter we get a letter or email saying that shipping prices are going to go up 5-10%.

You could try to contact AceStainless or http://www.mazzurisuper.com/ and see if they give you a better price, but in the end with the HMT discount, Columbia River seems pretty reasonable.

I had good luck with these guys, shipping did end up a bit more than expected, but the box was pretty big, and by the time the HMT discount kicks in it wasn't bad at all. I'd call, they were good to talk to and fixed it up and shipped it out that day if my memory serves correct.

That has always been their company name.

I ordered from them shortly after they became a sponsor here.

HMT discount?! I've never gotten a discount there... is there a code or something?

Smokey 12-24-2007 12:16 AM

Re: Columbia river mandrel bending...

$130 got me enough 3" mandrel bent tubing to do my DP/ full exhaust(minus straight pieces obviously) and a 3" V-band, and it got here in less than a week coming across the border, i'm very impressed.
