Asked by E&P after it was over if he thought he'd been too harsh, Colbert said, "Not at all." Was he trying to make a point politically or just get laughs? "Just for laughs," he said. He said he did not pull any material for being too strong, just for time reasons. (He later said the president told him "good job" when he walked off.)

who care?

oo good job he made fun of the president like no president in history has been ripped on

score one for the liberals they will win for sure next round!!

Why does everything turn into a liberals vs. conservatives argument w/ you? Is that the only way you base anything concerning the government?

How is our country supposed to progress w/o people being more understanding of someone else's viewpoint?

Yeah they need fresh material like a double of Bush making fun of how he can't say nuclear. Man those jokes are just so fresh! The big joke is his approval rating, and it just keeps getting funnier

ya everything there was old. not really funny...

fyi, his approval rating is B.S.

no one has ever asked me, and anyone i know. they ask people in the middle of the city what they think.

when someone asks me what i think, i'll believe those approval rating polls

I posted a bashing of Bush, that doesn't make me a liberal. If you think Bush is a true conservative, you're retarded.

The Left is just as wrong and corrupt as the Right.

Bush cant be a true conservative in the current political atmosphere. wether or not he is personally, or wants to be...

this country needs a HUGE swing away from socialism/liberalism.

there are plenty of places in the world were one can go to live in a socialist society.

the USA did not become the most powerful, most free, and best country ever to be on earth because of socialism

Johnny, the country isn't liberal. Musoui told the prosecuter he wished 9/11 happened everyday until it got him (the prosecuter) and we can't even put him to death. What makes you think we're going liberal? [/sarcasm]
