------- stupid. How hard would it be to pack your own rounds without that code? Normal people will be the only ones using this. Not like you could check them . What's an officer going to do, crack each round open and look?

The criminals are what's ------- this world up. Think of how cheap ---- would be and how mice it would be if we just started handing out death sentences to criminals. Less crime=less bullshit=less cost for the consumer. Prices would drop for pretty much everything and people would be able to afford more.

The cost of ammo is going to skyrocket. :3

Police state here we come >:(

You know i was looking though all the bills that have been pre-submitted to the state house of reps for my state and have to say, most of them are pretty scary and have nothing to actually help most people. I think this country has began to reach the point where the Government is more concerned with itself than the people it was elected to govern, it won't be long before the riots happening in other countries (Thailand, Greece, Iceland, etc) will be happening here in the US.

---- would never pass in many states (mine likely included)

BTW im a democrat who lives in the heart of yuppiville(Ann Arbor, Mi) and most here say ---- that ---- ass bill.
......thanks for your purchase sir, you may pick up your rifle rounds in 2 weeks when you clear our background check.........LOL

no it says the price will not be that much, didnt you read the site?

well might as well go invest in reloading supplies for all 8 assault weapon calibers

also those bills demand that all non coded ammo be disposed of whether its privatly owned or not by 2010
"No later than January 1, 2010, all non-coded ammunition for the calibers listed in section 134-A, whether owned by private citizens or retail outlets, shall be disposed of in a manner prescribed by the attorney general through rules adopted pursuant to chapter 91.''

haha
'' All ammunition capable of use in a handgun, including an assault pistol,''

At least Kansas isn't listed. At least they do ONE thing right here. Well that and no emissions test.

Oh, well as long as they say it won't cost that much, it must be true. ::) They're already talking about taxing the ---- out of it on top of this. $100 for a 50 round box of 9mm ammo here we come! :3

Re: coded ammo?! (not a johnny thread)

the whole point of gun control (registering a weapon) is to keep guns out of the hands of people that might use them (mentaly insane, ex cons, anyone against the patriot act). this idea just keeps people from buying enoghf ammo to defened thenselfs from the govenment. defending youself from the govenment is the purpose of the 2nd amendment. the idea of coding the ammo is just makes it seem like the idea is to catch crimminals. i have never hered of, or read about a single criminal that robbed a bank or quicky-mart or whatever using a gun registered to himself. i bet a million dollars you'll never hear of a anyone using ammo registered to thenselfs either. gun control is designed to keep sane people from having to many guns (and now ammo).

GhostOfDr.Boost 12-07-2008 08:59 PM

Re: coded ammo?! (not a johnny thread)

Now criminals will be robbing people for ammo instead of just guns/money/etc. Crime will actually go up because of this and people will be getting murdered with stolen ammo for more ammo. Home invasions will be a common thing and WalMart, Big5, Kmart will be robbed on a daily basis. All of this so the police can trace the stolen ammo back to the LAW-ABIDING citizen it was stolen from. ::) Congrats.

What a load of horseshit. This will solve exactly 3 murders per year. Not worth it.

/fixed
people will actually be more enraged and decide to kill more people because they know they will get caught.

furthermore, most people dont plan on shooting someone and totally getting away with it, they think they wont get caught but they dont cover their tracts and get caught.
if your a hitman you are not going to use coded ammo because its just counterproductive.
