Re: cod4 ?
as opposed to building a computer with the same game playing capibilities that he'll have to upgrade, or replace atleast once over the 5 year lifespan of his ps3. in the beginning consoles rocked. then pc's. now pc's are too ------- expencive and have 2 short a ------- performance life.
i played the cod4 beta on 360. it was real fun, i might snag it to play until UT3 comes out for christmas.

if you know how to shop around, you can build a PC equal to, if not better than the PS3 for a fraction of the price.. and if you have some "know how" you can get any game desired for free.
I built my 2 ghz AMD 64 bit machine with a radeon 1600 pro 512mb, 2GB of pc3200 DDR ram, a nice sound card and case for $200.. guarantee I could run the PC version of COD4 on high res. while multi-tasking with other applications at the same time..

I had special forces running for awhile.. It lacks the fighter jets so I eventually gave it to a friend and went back to regular modern combat. What's the best mod they have with online capable servers? I'd like to check them out especially if there's new aircraft.
