i actually really like the ss supercharged car.
if it runs shitty something is obviously wrong with it. they don't come running crappy from the factory
its truly idiotic to think that any manufacturer "can't tune a car".

Re: Cobalt SS?
The cars are trash. The tunes are full of holes, from lean spots and heavy knock on bone stock cars, to stupid IAC issues that make the revs hang between shifts and on hard stops. The E-throttle is a joke. It's super aggresive when it doesn't need to be (light throttle) which causes the car to jerk all over the place if you aren't used to driving it, but lags when it shouldn't (hard driving and getting back on it after a shift). My favorite part of the car, is that if you bang second hard enough it will simply shut off. This has happened to me twice now, both times while racing people. I hit second hard and instead of tire chirp the motor simply shut off and I continued to hit the gas in vain as we coasted to the side of the road. I've never had or heard of that happening in ANY other car. I think it has to do with the E-throttle's inability to keep up with quick inputs and the throttle simple doesn't open before the clutch is let out on a fast shift. They suck even more because the owners are idiots. Check out www.cobaltss.net if you want a good laugh. "Dude you're gona blow the #4 cylinder! You need those 90000lb/hr injectors so you can run 9.8:1 AFRs to make up for the fact that your blower is blowing 700* charge air because you overspun it with a stupid small pulley. Just tune it to <10:1 AFR's and you'll have no problem breaking 240whp!!!!!1111one!!11eeleven11!!"
Someone mentioned the steering, that's one of the few things I don't have a problem with. You wouldn't even know it's electric assisted if no one told you. Handling wise those, they push through corners like tug boats. Nothing short of the e-brake will make the back end rotate.
FYI, my friend owns a Redline, which is the experience I'm speaking from. Oddly enough, that car with nothing more than an intake has no problem WALKING stage 1, 2, pulleyed, tuned, etc Slobalts. So that makes me laugh even more. We actually pulled a stage 2 + i/e Shitbalt... and we had 3 people in the car, the Slobalt kid was alone.

not to mention, on tight cornered race tracks, the suspension just doesnt seem to hold its own in a stock or lightly modded form. that platform was not designed for hardcore driving enthusiasts

The rumor mill says they're coming back with a turbo version next year.
*dunno about that*...
Either way there are a lot of them here... and it's funny to see them so happy to break into the 13s. :P Even with stage 3xy57fva alpha bravo... they're still slow as *****.
