my buddy bought a clutch for his 88 crx si never put clutch on my question is will the clutch fit my 1.5L crx dx i'm thinking it will because when my buddy ordered the clutch it was listed for a 88honda civic or crx si.

Should fit just fine...might need the pressure plate that is if the clutch is bigger which i dout i could be wrong tho, i believe the si clutch has more surface area over the dx.

it depends on what year your car is.

for example... not exact numbers.

88 had 19 splines on the input shaft.
89 had 20.
90-91 had 21.

something like that.

yup what he said... plus the flywheels are differnt sizes if its the less teeth one..

if u change the flywheel to the si clutch u can use it with the 1.5
