Default Clutch break-in period

So i just got my new clutch/flywheel combo in, right? Well i'm getting mixed reviews on if i should do the normal 500+ mile break-in period. I wanna just rip the bitch apart and call it broken in myself. Just wanna see what you crazy kids do to your new clutches.

Resurfaced stock lightened flywheel to 16lbs
Exedy stage 3 ceramic 6 puck unsprung and PP

I'm trying to do the 1/4th mile again this wednesday and run some 13's

meh, standard break in is about 500 miles, the paperwork i got from exedy was 700.

Its up to you, how soon do you want to replace that clutch?

i've put about 150-175 of gear shifting miles on the clutch already...i think i'll take it to the track on wed. and drive it around as much as i can after work tomorrow...unless exedy emails me and tells me otherwise. What exactly does the "Break-in" period do to the disc anyways? I'm thinking its a heat treating process ya know. It rapidly heats and cools the disc making the material stronger. Thanks for the input guys
