Hey,
I have a 2003 tiburon in which the stereo is a clarion cd. Worked fine when I bought the car then it started playing when it wanted to and not all the time. Now however everytime I open the face plate it disconnects the power to the stereo. Can not eject cd and can only listen to radio.
Is there any main reasons for this? A guy a future shop said he has never heard of this and it will cost a set amount just for them to look at it.
Please let me know if it would be a good investment to get this looked at or if it should be replaced.

Ok, well other than the make of the car has anyone heard of this.

 

buy a new cd player, it will cost to much to fix and be a peice of ----.

ok easy enough. But what is happening? Can I just bang on it or something maybe lose wires or something?

shops cost so much just to "diagnose", just get it replaced. all they are gonna tell you is it needs to be replaced, so jsut skip the middle man
