Is this in the ice?

My experience with the Evo 8 active traction control has been very good. Even at high horizontal load and downshifting the thing wouldn't break traction.

He was running a JDMBlang Tein setup though, even so I thought from the factory they were set up to understeer :-\

Nope, this is on dry pavement. I have the '03 model model that lacks the ACD control, so I have a full-time LSD in the rear and and open diff in the front. It takes some finesse with the '03 models to get them to do what you want through a corner, and downshifting before the turn and then getting hard on the throttle at the apex is definitely not it. ;D

Leaving a stoplight and making a turn is the most fun...the people in the other lanes tend to get a little scared, especially when my car is perpendicular to theirs. ;)

Word.

That sounds like it'd get peaky and oversteer.

But it'd be mad fun. ;D
