you do realize that "hemi" is a sales technique, and that almost every engine made since 1970 is technically a hemi. Chrysler puts a "hemi" badge on its cars to sell them because old stupid people think that hemi is something cool. it was something cool back when they designed hemi heads because everybody else's cars had shitty wedge heads.

a "hemi" is nothing special but a badge. all hondas are "hemi" as are most every single car on the road.

Not quite. True Hemi engines were not manufactured after 1971 until Dodge re-introduced them into it's Durango and Ram in 2003. A Hemi has a hemispherical combustion chamber--like if you cut a golf ball in half.

Compared to that, Hondas and other engines have a much flatter design.

I'M AWARE OF THIS DOUCHE BAG.

its a HEMI, because it was produced in the 60s with a hemi combustion chamber and its a HEMI because its a hemi combustion chamber with OHV. its also a hemi because of what Will said. they aren't quite the same, but the same concept. JAPS DIDNT INVENT IT!

almost all OHC engiens have hemi combustion chambers. but they aren't a hemi!
