I love my eg hatch, but I think my next purchase will be a 1st gen crv with a 5spd 4wd and boost for my kid hauler. I have a 2 year old now and a new one coming next month.

dude you need a family car. Hatchback is a death trap. Be a parent buy a crv or a 4 door

I have many many cars but when I only have a hatch on the road and my wifes car it is a major PITA, you need to be able to tote kids in both cars you will find out fast.
