We bought a 52" Samsung LCD and got the warrenty two months ago. Now were fucked on the money for the warrenty, I guess. But Since it went on our Chase/circuit city card mabybe we can get chase to credit us back.

See, that's why Walmart's awesome. When you buy the warranty it rings up as a separate item that's attached to the serial # of the item you bought it for. You can buy a warranty from walmart up to 90 days from the purchase, and return it within 90 days as well. That's right you can return just the warranty and get a full refund. That and Walmart's 2 year extended warranty is really good and covers almost everything. Often what happens is people buy a Vizio tv, it blows up, since the company is in Cali shipping the tv express costs as much as a new tv, so Walmart gives them a replacement. This one older couple bought a Viore tv 9 months ago and it blew up. They spent 2 months trying to contact the company and Viore wouldn't acknowledge them. So they called Walmart finally, who doesn't deal with Viore anymore because they're ----, yadda yadda yadda the shipping costs $1k because Viore has no technicians on the east coast, so we gave the couple a Sony Bravia tv. That is one reason why CC sucks *** lately. Their warranty process is a ------- joke. At Walmart if you have a warranty and create a fuss they take care of you on the spot. At CC they make you deal with some shitty sister company first.

i cannot ------- stand wal-mart it feels like ---- everytime i have to buy something from there. last 5 times i have ben to wal-mart i either had a terrible time trying to get some service or they did not have what i wanted in stock

Exactly. As an employee it sucks ***. No benefits until 1 year of employment, no raise until 1 year, shitty bottom-of-the-barrel management, the list goes on. However as a customer Walmart will do anything for you to get you out of customer service.

I try to only shop there at midnight or later.

They have 30 registers and 4 people running them on a Saturday. They run out small businesses and buy everything overseas.

Remember when they used to advertise they only sold things made in America? Not anymore...

If you have not used the warrenty, you can get a refund on it, which since they are going under, I probably would. At least that was the rule when I worked there.
