my eg sedan felt like it wanted to jump once i got past 130....didnt push it much past 140ish since it felt like it just wanted to leap of the ground and amplified any lil bump/imperfection on the road.

What are you thinking?

How slow all the traffic around the car is moving, at all times? Or how the total trip time and distance seem to be off?

Or maybe how they talked about actually taking a turn at that speed....

My VX with Skunk 900lb rear springs and 175/70/13 Firestones was actually pretty good at 145-150 where it hit the limiter in 5th [GSR hydro] and i would have gone for more it was pulling fairly hard still.I did this going up a big hill though so stopping would be fairly easy.So really i dont dought they did 170.

i believe it, i hit 140 a few times when i was pushing 14 pounds in my civic with the b16 and it had more. 130 was pretty much max on just the stock b16. and thats in a 95 ex coupe. if i trusted my engine with that load i would definitly max out the car haha. and as far as the car not handling that well at those speeds, road condition plays a huge part in that.

i hit like 125 or so, but i would'nt look at the speedo that often cuz my car felt like it was going to fly off the road, what freeway in cali is smooth enough to do 175 on?

Wheres all this denial coming from? I did 175 in a school zone once. The only reason he let me go is because I had a crack in the manifold, plus he said I had too much cdm in my engine bay, hell yeah!
