chevy 6.5 diesel turbo?
 
Any one ran one? Any idea what they can make on a built z6? Compressor map? I'm sure JD will chime in on this. :)

They are an old borg warner, a little inefficient, probably could make 350ish, but here is a thread about them https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...prev_next=next

pretty sure its a GM5 or GM8. i think theyre good for like 400

3L toy v6 @ a bar. bout 450hp

if it wont get you where you need to go spray, or strap on two more cylinders.

Can't say I recall coming across one in my travels. I have come across an S595, but that is a huge turbo, like something you would see in a turbo outlaw 10.5 car.

I will flip through my borg/schwitzer/kkk/airwerks stuff tonight and see if I can come up with something for you.

ok this fuckers a gm-5, how bad would the lag be?

I need a built sohc on the super cheap, daily driver 350hp >:D

look at the specs, man.. the compressor side is close to a T04E (57 trim), but the turbine inducer is bigger.. it will be REALLY laggy on a daily driver d16.

u'd be better with a super 60

Unless it is free I would pass it up. It would be similar to first (not the one that made 436whp) H1C that D16y8-Z6 is running, you can search for his dyno's to see how it spooled. Just buy a 50trim t4/t3 and be done with it, or find any HY35.
