Well as i searched the internet sometime last year in need of some turbo help i found the best site HMT. My summer project never worked out but now I and some freinds have started a club at Georgia Tech to build a car for Grassroots Motorsport's $2004 challenge. We get money from our school to BUILD A STREET LEGAL RACE CAR. How pimp is that! Yes i know we did not get a CRX but oh well..but stuffin a 1.8t in an '85 GTI is gonna mke it a beast.

I saw that in the grassroots magazine last year. (Bamboo7, that's the mag I gave you!)
It seems some of the cars are really built within budget, and some where all funded (uh, so and so gave us a viper for $5 :P) Good luck and let us know how it goes. That would be a fun thing to build. ;)

will let you know we are trying to put in the motor this coming weekend. Also the rules are a lot more strict now and the fact that the grand prize is a set of tires makes you look like an ass if you cheat.
