nevermind what i just said, i just saw that the engine was in the rear. so basically, there's no weight in the front to make the front wheels grip in hard turns like that.

Re:check this...

its mid engine/rear engine, whatever you want to call it

88crxSi 09-14-2004 01:43 PM

Re:check this...

i think he plans on putting one in the front later... that's what ive gathered anyways.

That car is a pretty big hack job. It is impressive that it works but it would fit right in here at HMT.

I like this guy's approach, nice and simple.

so he turned that del sol into a FF car that had lots of understeer into a MR car that has lots of understeer... seems kinds pointless too me

I don't see it being pointless

My guess is he is going to do dual engines and make it one hell of a track car...
otherwise why not leave the engine in the front and make it RWD?

MR go understeer/oversteer/neutral greatly depends on your input.

thats the ----.

I want to build an AWD Integra, that'd rock.

Re:check this...

Damn I wish I had those kinds of skillz and stuff to do that.

Re:check this...

1 engine for each wheel, 1 gas pedal for each wheel. so you could do hella doughnuts.

we did this with dune-buggies(one brake pedal of each wheel)

Re:check this...

here's my plan for hella "drift" action. get your prop valve, switch the lines from front to back, so the back drums get lots of pressure that way they lock up easy, have fun.

this has already been done. no im not searching for the

Re:check this...

Cody does some pretty cool stuff, I was watching that topic on honda-tech when he first started. He's had several engines in that Sol, and its his girlfriends. I didnt hear anything about a duel engine setup? just a big turbo setup on the h22.

88crxSi 09-15-2004 11:21 AM

Re:check this...

he posted in the gsr mid-engine rwd topic about the 2nd motor...

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=981613

i guess h22 is the best choice for this, due to it's cable shifter instead of linkage.
