cheap power increase

is there any ways without ------ rigging your ride, to increase the power. Any little tricks you guys up your sleeves? i just got the stock d15. dont mention an engine swap, cause my ride is way to beat up to be doing that. i just wanna run this beast till it croaks.

drive it off a cliff. Depending on how tall the cliff is, it might go pretty damn fast towards the bottom.

Re: cheap power increase

propane injection ;D(walmart colman camping propane)
run a cold air intake no filter as low as possible
chrome 22" rims. oh those arent cheap.
pour battery acid in your oil

Re: cheap power increase

if you really dont care about the motor, drive around with no exhaust manifold for a little while.. and i suggest getting a half radiator, as a full one will probably melt or some ---- :P

Re: cheap power increase

well that's 10 hp right there for the header, and another 10 for each ehaust pipe coming out of your bumper so you probly got an extra. oh and the tach that's bigger than your head is another 15 so you're doin pretty good so far. As a "------" I'd say your doing a damn good job of "------ rigging" so far. Oh and if you want, you can edit that first post to say fourthgenhatch is a "------ rigger" too.

Thanks assfuck, have a good day

Re: cheap power increase

---- making it fast, it's a stock D series honda. You don't make them "fast" without a good chunk of cash ($1000 or less for an HMT kit).

If I were you I'd start pulling all that rice ---- off there, you're just going to attract thieves and cops, and I garuntee you that your car will not be faster if it is either stolen or impounded. Plus we'll just flame you. ;D

Guy-Fast 02-13-2006 03:33 PM

Re: cheap power increase

well Im ssumin your a hs kid. Just get an intake, nice exhaust and strip some extra weight. Its not gonna be fast but better than nothin. OH and a tune up is proably in need on that thing

Re: cheap power increase

Seafoam the engine....
Sell the ricey stuff get stock parts......
With that money, buy a DPFI to MPFI swap.....
Get the Egay intake.....
and enjoy d15 power......

after that sell it or burn it. If you are not planing on any major mods on the car just save your money for the actual project car....

JDMFantasy2K 02-13-2006 04:31 PM

Re: cheap power increase

are you guys serious? look at the dent on the tach, that's easily another 12.14 awhp

a good running d16 isnt to shabby not super fast but not bad. dpfi is basically pointless to mess with so mpfi is your best bet

RotaryGeek 02-13-2006 05:06 PM

Re: cheap power increase

yeah mines still dpfi, need to get off my ass do swap it. just lazy.......... and broke.

Re: cheap power increase

buy a cheap nos kit from ebay for like $300 put the fifty shot in and when u realy need a bit of speed you will have it for a little while.

I just seen a video where a guy ran a stock d15 dpfi with 150 shot and then 250 shot on a dyno
the 150 shot seemed to go pretty good
the 250 shot also went prety good for a sec.

BigD 02-13-2006 10:36 PM

Re: cheap power increase

please don't say nos...that is like my biggest P.P.
