Re: Cheap Paint Job Needed
I heard that the macco jobs come out decnet if you do the the prep work and basically send it to them with all the dings and what not out and ready to sand and spray.

Re: Cheap Paint Job Needed
Maaco paint quality is ----, how your car looks depends on who did the prep work, the only reason I used them was that I needed something quick and cheap for the time being, come this summer I am sanding down the coupe all over again and repainting it with dupont single stage and I'll paint it by myself, I can guarantee it will come out better than a maaco paintjob.

Re: Cheap Paint Job Needed
Macco paint jobs suck because they prep the car in a hurry and use cheap paint. 65% of a good paint job it good quailty paint. A friend of mine had his car painted at a local macco wich is know for shitty work. He did all the prep himself and bought his own paint and had them spray it. I think he got the price down to like $100 cause he supplied the paint. All they done was sprayed it. He plainly told them that if there where any major flaws they will have to fix it. But the car came out nice with just a couple of little runs that where hard to spot.
