Julio, both the BFG DRs are good. They don't make DRs in a KDW. He probably got the these:

Good price, but azenis suck. I have owned both azenis and the old ones hooked better, but they tended to get too soft as they heated up. Also the wet traction was ZERO. The new ones aremore consistent and are way safer in the rain.

I have never ran BFGs, but a friend's car cut 1.9 on 225/50 15 BFG DRs.

Right now I'm rocking the Nitto 555's and they are way better than azenis.

yeah I chopped the right inside of mine from not doing an allingment right away when I replaced my tie rod end. Only drove about 100miles. I put the regular tires back on(I have extra wheels). But I cut a 2.018 60ft with them, also most of us are'nt making the type of numbers you are so for mild setups I think they should be fine. I have the top pic as well

i have so of the bfg's and they kik ass. hell there slicks now lol and i still cut 1.9 60 ft. on them. but they arnt to safe in the rain i figure so i got some cooper cobra's on now. cooper cobras are good street tires. but nothing can bet the bfg's. i wish m/t made there drag radials in 15's or at least my size in 15's

i like those MT ET streets as well. i want a set for my TA's rear next year. they are a pretty penny and probally have no traction in the rain either. i also need a nice set of tires for next year.

Re: cheap drag radials 15'

I emailed Mickey Thompson and supposedly they will have there drag radials available in a 205/15 and a 225/15 soon.We put a set of these on my buddies Nova and they are serioulsy pimp. They own all other drag radials.

Re: cheap drag radials 15'

---- i got 265/50-R15 on my TA all the way around. they are nice and wide, they rub in the front if i turn to tight. i want the biggest i can get on the TA's rear. since im going to be swapping in a 350-400 small block sometime next year, and possibly have twins on there, i think ima need some nice size tires to grab.

i believe it m/t's are number 1 in drag racing( personal opinion) although hoosier's are nice, but i dont think they make 15' radials

Azenis aren't drag radials, they are a tire designed for atuoX. They are stickey from the get, but heat quickley and can get greasy. Hardly a drag tire. The 615's are light years better tan the 215's though. I've seen the BFG's hook 1.5's on 400whp rwd cars. If you want something that can be driven on the road if need be in teh wet go with the Nitto 555R, but if youwant a hard ass drag radial it doesn't get better than the BFG. The second one in the pix above.

According to them it's DOT approved but not recommended. Definitely sounds serious. :y
