The ones for sale that I saw around here in OK condition, non turbo, went for well under a grand. For instance I have a friend with an 88 GXL thats red two door non turbo asing $2000 and its in great shape and I think he's asking way too much...

Money says that engine is going out too. My friend sold his turbo 2 in the exact same senario. Swapped engine, so you think its a good deal right? nope, rotarys are crap. Lick my ------- frank.

Those cars are fun as ---- to drive though. Even the non-turbo ones.

Yeah, I believe $5k is kinda high for that car...The engine would have to be REALLLY fresh(low mileage) and I'd want it checked out by someone who really knew they're rotary engines...That is a pretty clean car though, and you don't see many of those turbo models...at least not in this area...I'd say $3500 would be a REASONABLY fair price for that car, if it was in STRONG mechanical condition...

TII's if taken care of can last to 200K, it all depends on how the owner took care of it

most times though they crap out at around 100K simply because people dont know what the ---- there doing and get all confused cause it doesnt have pistons ::)
