Changed The Setup, Lookin For Close To 300
Got the car back together at 3 AM today. Have to wait for it to dry up here in seattle to re-tune it.
Anyways, rocking a ching chang xs power ramhorn that I re-enforced and beefed up a bit. Turbosmart 38mm Ultra-Gate, T3/T04E Chang with Garret Internals and a Stage III wheel, 3 Inch DP with no fan trimming on a dual core, Open wastegate Dump Tube.

Nice, but ONE thing....why would you run that WG dump to the cold side? It's not THAT big of a deal I suppose but at WOT there will be heat coming from it shrouding your compressor, just makes more sense to go to the hot side with the DP or even tie it in with it.

I plan on getting it ceramic coated, and might rap it to keep the heat away from the compressor. Air should be flowing pretty good over that spot though.

after thinking about it, might try flipping it and see where it sits. I really dont want the exhaust gases going right below the filter. Wasn't thinking too hard about it at midnight lol.

Haha, nah you're good. I was just like, "Wow, that was probably the WORST spot to put that...". Haha, I'm not trying to be a tool, but yea you CAN fit it on the other side whether it be in front then kicked back underneath or over the back towards the block and down or like I said blowing a hole in the DP and fitting it in there on the side or something.
You look like a decent welder, don't make amatuer pieces like that, tie it into your DP. You could run it along it and cut out a slice and fit it to the sides that it runs smooooooth and the dumptube doesn't interfere with exhaust flow either. I know what I mean but I just can't explain it well, haha.
Whatever you do, post it up. I'm curious how you end up doing it.

If I tie it into the downpipe like my old setup, im going to essentially have it come down where the straight down section is on the downpipe, and have it insert there and have the pipe inside the downpipe a bit, that way it will pull the exhaust gases down as they pass, and it shouldnt disturb flow. It's mainly just space that im trying to conserve on that side, I dont want to clutter the tranny side all up and have a huge opening on the engine side.
I think what I will do is just extended it back a little bit, or have it loop towards the passenger side on the bottom. I don't know I got a few choices, I dont have to do it right away.
