My check engine light went on a few weeks back and it threw a code for an iac valve, i went through the writeup i found on this site ckecked my timing and all the other good ---- and narrowed it down to the o2 sensor because of the rough idle, i got a new o2 sensor and the check engine light went off and it hasent come back in the last 60 something miles but the car still studders when its hot, WTF am i missing? somebody help me out? i just put some 44k thinking maby the injectors got dirty somebody anybody help a HMTr out,

and btw it idels perfect now like 1200 when its cold and 800 on the dot when its warm

Its probally your fule pump or Ignition.
THe pump is very hard to trace.
People normally allways start with the O2 sensor.

ignition was one of the first things that came to mind my plug wires were chaged last summer and are in good condition and my plugs, cap and rotor look to be in good shape as well, how can i tell if it is the pump?

so you got a code for your iacv, but you fixed the o2 sensor?why don't you try fixing what threw the code first? thats usually what i would try. I know on my old d series i ran open throttle body to prove a point to a friend, and popped iacv after a month or two and its spuddered and ran like ---- in limp mode only when warmed up all the way. so i pulled off the iacv and sure enough there was nasty gunk buildup on the metal screen in the iacv. so pull it off and take a look, spray it out with carb cleaner once you pull it off,then try it after that, it might just fix it.

change the iacv mine made my car run like total assholewhen it was bad

thats what mine idd, it would spudder, then pop solid CEL then turn off then spudder again then pop the cel again then turn off then finally stay solid and run in limp mode,it was a crome pro'd p28 tho and it was because the screen on my iacv was clogged

the frirst thing i did was switch it out but that didnt do ---- and it was throwing the same code i think it woas p0505

IM yet to find a good write up on how to diagnose a fuel pump problem.
Though I have seen some guys selling a machine that tests fuel pumps.

THe hard part is testing flow under boost.
