He can also do Utec on my car, but it's still a piggy back, and for about $200 more I can go standalone.

I'm taking the hatch to them for some tuning, and I want to dyno the WRX the same time before I put the new turbo, injectors and fuel management on it, then also do it after.

They really know what they're doing.

Kevin, next time you come down here, hit me up, There's a bunch of guys here in Central Florida on HMT, maybe we can do a dyno day or something.

the worse thing you can do is get a utec.

yeah, I'm not getting one. He was running microtech on his WRX and running 11's. I trust them with it. It might not be the normal WRX tunning, but it works. I will probably get that.

david, i'll definitely let you guys know a couple weeks ahead of time before i come down, i'm really just waiting on the rest of my turbo stuff to come in and get everything together and some tuning (hopefully my clutch still have some meat on it from the last turbo to suffice for a couple weeks) in and i'll prolly take a friday or monday off to make a long weekend and come down there, but hopefully in about a month or so, weather should be nice down there by then too ;D

That site has been posted here before...

Quick thing about the Neptune setup... CFT doesn't in-house tune Neptune... you can have it tuned there though... if you are interested in a Neptune setup, you need to contact Darin Dichiara, and he can and will come to whatever dyno is closest to you and tune your setup for you. This is only good for Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina cars.

Coincidentally enough, you can currently contact Darin here at RPI Racing, at 407.834.2001 ;)

By the way, all bias aside, if i was building a car right now that could use it, it would be on Neptune... It is infinitely cheaper than Hondata, you get a TON of features, and it isn't buggy like Uberdata is, and it does cost a lot less than Microtech .. I have seen a car riding down the road all of a sudden just shut off with Uberdata in it, and the only way to fix it was to reburn a new chip... lol. definately what i want to be running MY engine ::) .. haha! Anyway, Neptune really is the way to go... it is bug-free, and Darin is a hell of a tuner... I trust him enough, that he will be doing the Motec tuning in my race car here very shortly ;D

i don't want anything controlling my car that i can't make adjustments to if i want/need to. ---- having to pay someone to tune your car every time you need changes just because the software isn't available (at any price) to the general public, that's just gay. if i wasn't using uber data (which i've never had a single problem with in a year and a half and know how to work around the few bugs that there are, which by the way isn't many these days), i would run crome, at least an average joe can buy a license for crome, you don't have to be a ------- elite honda-tech/boosted-hybrid tuner to get your hands on it. ---- neptune >:D

anyone else notice the great price on injectors? 110 for 1600cc injectors. doesn't get any cheaper then that. and there mitsu style so they should work perfect for our hondas as do the dsm 450's. i think ill be lookin into some of these injectors before this summer.

Whoah, that struck a nerve... LoL...

Sorry that you feel that way guy... Could i interest you in a coupon to a 'relax the ---- out' therapist or something? hahaa!

Its all good man... There are a lot of people out there that cannot tune, and do not want the responsability of tuning their own car... Neptune is great for that, because you know that the tuner working with your car is experienced, and knows what he/she is doing. With Neptune you can still adjust launch rpms, rev limits and such yourself. Besides, how often do you need to adjust your tune? If you are adjusting it all the time, then something is wrong with it, or you're just a compulsive fiddler.. haha! This is EFI, not carburators... you don't have to adjust if the temps change 5 degrees or anything... heh.

I know that i'm not going to convince you though, so i'm just going to stop here... i knew this would somehow turn into some sort of argument over whatever is better. It doesn't matter to me personally what you go with... i was just trying to point out that if you want Neptune, you do not have to go to CFT, it can be done local to you. Personally, i'm using a Motec M800 fully decked out (about $11,000 when all is said and done).... so it isn't like i'm biased towards either system.

But to me, if i'm going to spend a LOT of money on a motor, and my car, then i want a computer that i know i can rely on, not just whatever i could find for the cheapest. So in my opinion (i do have the right to post an opinion, eh? LoL), if i was building a street car, i would run Neptune... if i am building a race car, i'll run Motec.
