i dont even know. when i went to go get a new phone last like feb, the dude was looking at our account and was like "your on a very old plan, i could switch you to this one (explains it) for cheaper, and seeing how much your kids use text messaging i could bump up your free message limit for free". i think some got discounted cuz my family is always getting new phones. i'll probably get another new one by the end of the year.

oh yea, and my homie works at a cell phone cover place and hooks us up for free. i have fake-*** carbon fiber on my phone

nextel sucks. And it true it all depends on the area your are out. Some provider would be better for you even though they suck. For 2 years I sold AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile, and Verizon. I have Verizon right now but if I had to go with someone else I would pick CIngular.

Verizon is good until you have a problem. The customer service is non existent. They just want your money. They still owe me $212.99 for a phone I returned in APRIL... and have been to the store and called customer service multiple times and I just get a runaround. On a funny note they kept calling my home phone saying I owed them money as I refuse to pay my bill since April. Finally spoke to a human and asked why I owe them money when they are the ones that owe me. I was being transfered to another person and my call was dropped, go figure. This is just one of many bad situations I have had with them. My parents have also had multiple problems with them and billing. I could not be rehired by Radioshack (I was a former employee) due to my viewpoint of Verizon.

The 'chirp' is what pisses me off, peoples screamin' 'n hollerin' on the phone, and what's worse you don't hear one person yelling, you get to hear both! And 80% of the time it's so static that they scream louder saying 'what the ---- you sayin dawg! I can't hear you!' ---- if I wanted to hear static I'd unplug the antenna and turn on the tv.

Geez... my buddy has Nextel and he doesn't even get servce in his own house.

So all 'n all, all cell phone providers blow.

Everyone I know thats had a nextel has hated it nd half the time you call them all you get is please wait while the nextel subscriber you are trying to reach is located then it goes to voicemail also the reception is shitty

Oh and for anyone that wants to switch companies... just google how to beat the early termination fee. It takes some letter writing but it works. Im giving Verizon one more chance to correct things (and maybe some extras for all the BS I've put up with) before I go to Cingular.
