CCA intercooler install and misc garage pics!!

well, i got around to installing my cca i.c. this weekend, i planned on installing my gauges and running some charge pipe, but i was being lazy, so now i'm a ricer with just an i.c. (just an i.c. installed anyways). funny story though, after the install i went to wash my car and some black kid was like "yo dawg, is that an intercooler on your honda?", ME: "yeah, i'll be installing the turbo next weekend" HIM: "damn, you gonna put a turbo on it too?" ME: "yeah, the i.c. didn't add enough power, now i want a turbo too" HIM: "damn, that's ----'s gonna have some power, i'm about to put a supercharger on my caddy" ::) i swear this is a true story. some of the pics are kind of blurry, i don't know why because my camera is usually on point, must have been user error.

starting to get wood, right about now.....

bolts installed (if you notice, they are a little long, i just left them like that, so the i.c. is sitting a little low, i got some shorter ones yesterday)

finsished! as you can see, it's a little off center, but i have to replace the bolts anyways, so i'll handle it then.

my stealth mani, i held it up to my head and i don't think it's going to clear my a/c which is going to piss me off if it doesn't :-\ oh well, if it doesn't, i'll just slap some paint on her and sell it on ebay and buy a mani/dp from bmc.

Hahaha, RICER. :P Looks good. Is it functional at least? Is it actually cooling the air going to the intake? :-\

nope, strictly rice for now :P i was going to run my charge piping to my intake and put a filter on the inlet of the i.c. ;D but i was going to use crush bend (low budget for now), but decided at the last minute to go ahead and order some mandrels. it's turning mad heads though :-[

na, it's about 10 mins from my new house and where i lived last year. i use to rent it with my boy, but i moved about 30 mins away while i was looking for a house to buy and decided not to rent with him anymore anymore, so my buddy (the guy with the cart and dirtbikes) started renting my half, but we're all good friends, so i can still go there. the friend that rents with him now is actually about to move away also, and i just moved back, so it works out good and i might jump back in on the rent.

yeah, a 00 si. there really aren't 'neighbors' it's a couple of these 'garages' in a row, most people rent them for storage, it's only 100 bucks a month including electricity :o they're in an open field that's in the middle of a trailer park, so most of the people are drunk red necks and don't care ;D

Well, the go-cart looks like one of those projects that will never finish and I'm not down with 4 strokes. :P If you guys ever get it done it should be cool, but you should have gone with a 2 stroke motor instead. A nice CR500 motor. ;D

he just had the engine laying around, he's a bike mechanic so he has access to all kinds of ---- like that. as far as not being finished?? the hardest part is over, he just has to bolt everthing together and figure out how he's gonna do a clutch. he has a set of new slicks, all new bearing, the mounting brackets on the engine are done, it's just all apart right now cause i think he's gonna paint it. those old 600's haul ass though my buddy had one that was ragged to hell, it was like an 85 or something and he smoked the ---- out of my 02 400 ex with sprocket and pipe......

Haha, 400ex, you say that like it's fast or something. :P Nah, it should be cool. I bet it pulls the front wheels off the ground low-mid range. ;)

I smoked some ----- on a Blaster with one of those. I couldn't beleive it. Not that Blasters are fast, but they should put up a challenge to a 400ex. He had paddles and I had knobbies too. :-\ I was ------- working that bike to catch traction. 8)

I wish I even had a one car garage :'(, All my work is done in the driveway I have to take out all the tools before, and picke them all up after, I wish I even had a single garage to keep all my stuff in.

By the way It's looking good, If you were closer, FLORIDA, I would help out on the final install. See you in Daytona

Same here. I can't open both doors without hitting a wall. It sucks because you have to figure out which side you are going to need the most room on and pull the car closest to the other side. ::) If you need to work on both sides(as I am now)you have to sacrifice room on both sides and suffer. :'(
