good ---- . so do you leave the pcv valve in there, and just run a tube from it to the catch can, to the preturbo intake? and seal off the port on the manifold it used to connect to? just double checkin

can i use that port on the manifold for my boost gauge?

I gutted the PCV and ran in to the catch can unit then to the pre turbo air intake.I dont think gutting the PCV is neccesary or even recommended but that is how I ran it and it worked well.I slapped a generic mini filter on the valve cover breather as well.

I have both my pcv and the valve cover breather running to my catch-can, and then to a slash cut in the exhaust. I read a couple of articles somewhere about slash-cuts verses pre-turbo inlet, and the results pretty much said that the slash-cut pulled alot more vacuum than the pre-turbo inlet. I say slash-cut for the win, emissions for the loss

put a metal tube with a slash cut at the end welded into the exhaust. its what i plan on doing to, just seems like the best way to get rid of it with little work

Slash cut is def the way to go.I was getting lazy by the end of the whole setup install so I slapped it in the intake :P

Wow this is a good post. I have been looking for something like this. I have been having problems with mine. I wasnt around when it was hooked up and from what it looks like is that they took the PVC valve out completly out and used the hose that comes outta the little black box ran it to the can and took the line from crankcase vetilating line from teh valve cover and ran it to the can then put an APC filter on the top of the can.

I have been noticing that when I am in gear and let the car rev down in gear that when i get back on the gas that oil comes outta the exhaust. In a blue smoke cloud. I think that it is caused from blow by or what have you. what do you guys think does that sound like a good guess
