mp3car.com for all sorts of good details. For the HD its a plain old desktop internal Western digital 7200rpm 200gb. Its screwed directly to the car chassis. At 155db the vibrations are insane. I am shocked its held up but its been doing good. My quarter panels flex quite a bit from the pressure along with my hatch, front windshield and front fenders. I had to hotglue the vid card and all the pci cards in AND brace the ---- out of them. They kept popping out. I use a 300watt inverter thats on a switch I just manualy shut it down. I have forgot to a few times and still had plenty of juice the next day to start the car. Then again...I have a dual Optima battery setup :) |
