what im saying is that if you fix it and the potental buyer needs a loan its going to suck for the person who is going to buy it AKA you will not have a quick sale

exactly. you would have to find another person with perfect credit or enough dough to shell out to you in order to sell it. the people are out there, I have seen it many many times, you just gotta find the right person.

and if you have that much cash, why not build your car?-instead of someone elses? -im jelious.

Re:CarFax pleaseeeee

I'm not trying to build a car because no matter how much money i drop into it to make it go fast, it's still only worth what the car is worth stock. I'd rather dish out the extra dough buy a car that can out perform a lot of cars the way it is. Then sell it and loose the least possible money. I don't want to make the same mistake my dad did....blow all his money on corvettes, chevelles and a sick 911 and and now he's 52 still working a 9-5. But is it harder to get a loan on a car with a salvage title?? I didn't know that.

damn b16drag gots the hookup.

Have you figured how much it's going to cost you to repair that car?

Re:CarFax pleaseeeee

at the most give him 4k, probably 3-3.5k would be great. And you know there was something serious that happened to the side of the car, hense why they replaced the door with one from a 325.

It doesn't look like a bad car, but make sure you know what you are getting yourself into, BMW parts aren't the cheapest.

Re:CarFax pleaseeeee

no no the 325 vin is under the windshield on the dash-the rest match the M3 yea my boy whos father owns a body shop estimated 2500-3000TOPS to make the thing look perfect. The engine started right up and it's not leaking anything.I'm just debating if i should do it or not....

have you vin matched the doors and motor/tranny? There are probably also vins underneath the seats. I've done a couple "vin swaps" before.

Re:CarFax pleaseeeee

if it's gonna cost you 3 grand to make it look perfect, i say no. If you pay full price for it (6k) plus 3k you will have spent 9k on it. And that's an eh price for a salvaged M3 that has a different dash with a vin of a different car. I don't think it's worth it, but if you get it for 3-4k that would be cool, since it's like trading in your 318 for an M3.
